    Default Couch to 5K Challenge?

    Has anyone done this?

    Whoops-- looks like I'll have to start next week! I'm unable to space the days out like they recommend.

    That will give some people a chance to join me though...

    I've done this..it's a great program...but...I would love to start fresh again! Count me in!

    I'm on week 5! (I had to repeat weeks 3 & 4 each once, as I was listening to my body and didn't over-exert myself.)

    I'm hoping to be in shape to run the entire Denver Race for the Cure on Oct 2.

    can this be done on a treadmill? I live in a very not-good-for-running apartment complex and neighborhood but I still would love to start running...

    I am doing a modified version of this and would love to join you.

    This program can easily be done on a treadmill, just be warned that your first time out on the road after the treadmill can be a bit of a shock. It is recommended to set your treadmill incline at 1% to simulate the outdoors.

    I am thinking about doing this. I started running (somewhat regularly) in January for a race in May. Unforunately, I got sick for about 6 weeks and lost a lot of endurance. I am thinking I could probably start this program around week 4. As in that would be my first week and I would go from there. Is that normal?

    How do all of you do it? What do you recommend?

    Carrie9142: I'm not sure. If you feel that would be comfortable for you, I think you'd be fine.

    Finally, incentive to hurry up and buy an exercise bra in my current (nursing) size. (That's been my excuse not to use our elliptical machine) If it ships in time, I'll join you next week!
