    Default Cozumel and Grand Cayman

BF & I are taking a cruise in November to Cozumel & Grand Cayman. Has anyone been? What did you enjoy, and what should we avoid. I'm looking at some excursions through Carnival right now but the selection is overwhelming. Looking for some recommendations for fun, not too intensely active stuff to do in both places. Thanks!

    Default Cozumel and Grand Cayman

I've been to Cozumel 4 times - 3 times on cruises, once on vacation.
Once DH and I went over to Tulum to see the ruins - we really enjoyed it.
Last year we did a snorkeling and beach trip - Cozumel has pretty good snorkeling.
On all the cruises many people have gone to Xel-Ha park and really liked it.

Last year's cruise was the 1st time we went to Grand Cayman. We did an island tour which included stopping at Hell, also the Turtle Farm. It was supposed to include Sting Ray city but the weather wasn't conducive- I was really disappointed to not go there, but we all loved the Turtle Farm. And it was fun to send a postcard to ourselves from Hell. You can also bring your passport and gave it stamped .

Thanks Jesseybell! We've been talking about snorkeling in Cozumel so that's good to know.
Had been thinking just stingray city for Grand Cayman but I'm interested in the turtle farm too.
    The research will obsessively continue....

I haven't been to Grand Cayman, but to I have been to the greater Cozumel area a few times. Tulum is beautiful and if you're interested in snorkeling Xel Ha is a good spot. If you have time also take a trip to Chichen Itza. The ruins are worth the trip.
