Oh wow! Laura, it looks incredible! That backsplash/window wall tile is amazing, and the dark hood over the stove is perfect! What a beautiful, clean, sleek space. I love the crisp cabinets and how well the warm counters and floor tile balance each other. And The Thing is now such a highlight! That super deep drawer is fabulous.

Oh it looks great! I think the backsplash works well now that the cabinet doors and drawer fronts are on. The whole space looks so much bigger with the fridge moved to the other wall too! Love it!

    Thanks everyone!

garden: I agree, it does all work well together now that the cabinets are in, etc. I do like the backsplash more than I did while it was being installed. I don't LOVE it, but it was a true compromise between my husband and me so I should have accepted I just wasn't going to love it. I think the design is all cohesive together and it's a million times better than it was. It is not my 'vision', but once I stopped expecting it to be, I liked it a lot more. It even works with the (gag) black hood. Haha.

What a change Laura. The lighter cabinets make such a huge difference as well as the placement of the fridge.

laura, I can't believe how much bigger your kitchen looks now. Moving the fridge and getting rid of the peninsula made a huge difference. Along with the beautiful white cabinets and lighter floor, of course And the Thing, what a transformation. I hope that you enjoy your kitchen for a very long time.
