    Sky- you're spot on!

Biopsy happening right now. He is supposed to be discharged sometime afterward. But he's not feeling well today, he's really nauseous, oxygen has been a bit low, and cough getting worse. And he is cranky as HELL.

I'm listening to them work and there is a drill... Holy crap.

The biopsy was fine, but he has come down with a stomach issue. He has been sick to his stomach since 10 am and started vomiting 2 hours ago. He is totally miserable.

So, no going home today. He is getting a CT scan of his belly shortly, and a new batch of blood work.

It was looking so good yesterday- he was better than his normal self, looked well, and was in good spirits. Now he feels way worse than when he got here Friday.

The CT scan of his abdomen and chest are done. They switched it to stat. He might be moving back to the critical care floor. He can't keep his eyes open and oxygen dropped really low. They are concerned about clots again. Still vomiting and in pain. This is so awful. He just keeps sitting up and laying down. There's nothing I can do but sit here.

My brother just called from Thailand and it was all I could do not to totally lose it on the phone.

I'm so sorry things aren't better today. So much of your story resonates with what I went through with my dad, even though it sounds like different diagnoses. I'm thinking of you and if you want to talk, please PM me.

I'm so sorry for what you're going through and for your dad. While you are strong for him I hope your DH is strong for you and that he improves.

Oh, no, I am so sorry to hear this update! They should have been able to see a lung blood clot (PE) on a CT of the chest. It requires more IV contrast and it's called a CTA (CT angiogram), is that what they did?

Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help clarify any confusing medical lingo or anything like that. I'm thinking of you!
