It really is! I want a better Fitbit that tracks heart rate, because I feel like I'm not getting proper credit for my exercise. :-) And I want those extra calories, darnit!!

Yes! That is why I use the HRM. It really makes a huge difference. FWIW, I got mine on Amazon for cheap a few years ago.

Thank you all for the suggestions on eating out. I try to pack small snacks when we head out, but I've never been good at packing meals. I should probably get better at that.

Big results! I'm now down over 10 pounds, and last week I wore some jeans that have been uncomfortably tight for months!

I ended up blowing past my calorie goal last night because of the amount of sausage I put on our pizza - I should have checked before I ate it because I was way underestimating how many calories it had. I easily could have just used less. Darnit! Now I know!

I did get in a good weights workout last night, and I avoided the get-home-from-school snack attack by having a small cup of soup at 3:00 (I leave work to pick up the kids at 4:00), and a rice cake thin with a little peanut butter as soon as we got home. That kept me non-hangry until I finally ate dinner with DH at 8:30. I hate eating that late, but I was at the gym from 7-8.

I wish I could connect with you guys via the fitbit app!

I have not exercised yet this week. I suck. I will be over my calories with dinner tonight, so I might have to suck it up. I should go for a walk since it is so nice out, but DH won't be home until almost 7 and the kids will act like I am trying to poison them if I dare mention it.

Meh, two cookies is a treat. A box of cookies would be a problem!

I got 30mins in. I'm wiped, but I feel better about things now.
