Today, I did W2W1. It wasn't so bad, although I felt a little cramping in my shins for the first time. I probably needed to hydrate more, as I didn't drink as much water as I should have. But the next 4 days are crazy and I doubt I'll get to the gym (I can only run on a treadmill thanks to really bad knees). So Monday's run is going to kill me.

You are right. After I posted that, I found a treadmill version on C25K - Treadmill which I am going to find very helpful so I don't have to do the math while running.

I found time to run on Sunday and did W2W2. It went really well - no struggling. I'll do workout 3 tomorrow and then I leave town. So I figure I'll do an additional week 2 workout before moving on to week 3.

I recently started this. I'll be doing W2D2 tomorrow. I really like it so far.

I'm on W3W2. The first run (W3W1) was harder - those 3 minute stretches seemed so long. But I made myself go today and I did the full workout without really struggling. I really wasn't sure I'd ever run for minutes at a time (beyond a minute), but today, it seemed like actual running was possible - if still a long way off. But I'm out of town again next week, so I may repeat W3 workouts. I'm afraid if I progress while in a hotel, I'll embarrass myself. LOL. No, but I'll be jetlagged, etc. so I'll stick to this week's workout.

How is everyone doing? I'm starting this up again (I finished right before I got pregnant with DD) and I'm on W2D1 (D2 tomorrow). Did pretty well since I decided to skip Week 1. It just wasnt as challenging as I thought it would be.

I am starting on Monday!! Super excited! Dh is setting up my treadmill this weekend. I'm looking for shoes - and recs? My budget is super tiny, but since I haven't worn tennis shoes in years, I have to buy something. Help!

Good luck isign! No help here as I've had the same pair of Nike Shox for 2 years. I'm not a tennis shoe person so they hardly ever get worn unless I'm exercising.

AFM I'm on W3D3. Im going thru the weeks kinda fast bc I want to run everyday (well, I've been running 6 days a week). I think I'm going to repeat week 3 for the rest of this week though and start week 4 next week. For instance, I started Week 3 on Tues, Wed and then today I'll be at day 3. Then tomorrow, Sat and Sun I'll just repeat it. Then start week 4 next Mon.

isign Good luck! Best bet is to get fitted for shoes, as everyone has drastically different feet, and what work for me may not work for you. If you go to a running store, they should have a treadmill set up to do a gait analysis, and it's usually free. If you're on a budget, see what they recommend for you and then maybe look online for a better price. (Just make sure you go back and spend money there sometime )
