That's a good idea. Another gal at work suggested bribery. Suckers/candy to be specific.

    I'm not above that.

I think we'll talk about it more before we go. I am also leaving it up to DH as he's home with her/takes her to these appointments and I don't think he always thinks about that.

Subscribing and updating! I know I've been gone FOREVER. Can I still be in here?

We were gone all July at my family's vacation house in Colorado and now are back home and A just started school three days a week (half days) and the adjustment is a little tough for all of us. I have my own business and work from home so the times she's at school or napping are the only times I can work and lately she doesn't seem to want to nap. And man, is she CRANKY when that happens. Doesn't help that she's got her molars coming in. She seems to love school, though, so hopefully soon things'll settle down.

Sorry for the rant! Today was an exhausting day

    Anyway!

Please change my age to 32 and DH's to 39.

    DD's stats:

    height: 33
    weight: 26.7
    head: can't remember but 90%

    And: Congrats Lizard!

Oh, DD had her 2 year WCV yesterday.

She was 27 lbs and 32 3/4 inches. I didn't ask about the percentages, but she seems about average based upon what others are reporting here.

I haven't been here for AGES!! I can't believe all the people expecting/having little ones! CONGRATULATIONS!!

    My update:

    DD's 2yr WBV status:

    Height: 36 (94%)
    Weight: 31 (91%)

I wasn't surprised at her height but I was pretty surprised at her weight. She looks very skinny to me so I'm guessing that she has heavy bones, just like her mama!

We've had a busy/fun summer. We finally did a long road trip with DD to Montreal which wasn't too bad. Going was pretty good but coming back was not so good. There was a portion of the trip where all DD yelled was "Get down"...for at least 1 hour. It was SO MUCH FUN!

I haven't been around her in a long time, but I thought I would come in and say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to all our TWO year olds! WOW!!!

Liam had his appointment last week and here are his stats:

    Weight : 30.5 pounds (Between 75-90th percentile)
Height : 37 and a bit inches (At the top of the percentile)

He got his first black eye (of what I am sure will be MANY) last weekend while we were on vacation at my IL's.

I am finally starting to not worry as much about his verbal skills. He is doing everything that a 2 year old should be doing, she told me to STOP worrying about him. His physical abilities are beyond that of the normal 2-year old and with having Ryleigh talk for him a lot, he is doing really well! That did make me feel better. We don't go back to see her until his 3 year WCV unless there is things that I want to discuss with her, such as when his "nub" in the hollow of his neck flares up again. I'm glad that I am seeing her often for myself right now as I discuss things with her when the kids aren't with me too! Then once D3 arrives in just under 8 weeks I will be there with him/her too.

While we were there, we had her weigh Ryleigh too, and she is only 4.5 lbs more than Liam! He weighs more and is taller than she was at this age. They are the best of friends and they enjoy bugging each other as much as any siblings do, but they do both LOVE each other SO much! I am sure that he is going to miss her TONS when she starts school next September!

duke's flygirl - I had the same concerns you did about verbal skills. R is not a major talker, but she babbles.

The doctor said she has no concerns about R since she can follow fairly complex commands (more than just 3 words), has great motor skills and is very ahead in all other skills *except* verbal. But, as a mom - I am right there with you!!

Chimichanga: That sounds like Liam exactly! The doc would talk to him and ask him to do things, and he did exactly what she asked. He BABBLES all the time, and I can tell he is trying to say more things.

It is nice to know I'm not alone though!
