Maybe you're new (either to CC or just to ATF), or maybe you're an old timer who just needs a refresher course - regardless, here's a primer on all the important information you need to post in ATF (or anywhere on CC!).

Do:

  • Familiarize yourself with our rules. You can also check out the 2007 Do's and Don'ts here.
  • Follow copyright law.
  • Confused about what all those abbreviations mean? Check out our common abbreviations thread.
  • Remember to search - many times the question has already been asked. Your thread will be merged if you create a new one on something that already has it's own thread. You can bump an old thread and ask for more information. If you need help finding a thread, you can ask here.

Do Not:
  • Hotlink.
  • Cross post between forums. Post in the correct spot, if you can't figure out where that is, feel free to PM an ATF mod.
  • Buy, sell or swap on our boards. This includes giving anything away but coupon codes. We allow that to take place in our Swap Forum. You do have to be a CC Supporter to post - but anyone can buy! If you attempt to sell, you post will be deleted by a member of our Mod Squad.

Our Family Planning section is divided into two sections. The first section is for general family planning questions. If you've got a question relating to getting pregnant, this is the spot to ask. If you've been trying for awhile, or have had the unfortunate situation of losing a baby, you may feel more comfortable posting about such topics in our Infertility and Loss forum. If you're interested in joining a group of any sort on ttc, head on over to our FP Groups.

If you're pregnant or have questions about labor, delivery or pregnancy this is the location for you. For pregnancy group threads, visit here.

Our parenting area has evolved and changed over time so that we may continue to meet the needs of our parents. We have a babies (0-12 months) forum, a toddler (12-36 months) forum and a Big Kids (3+) forum for all your parenting questions.

We also have group forums for our parents: babies, toddlers, Big Kids Groups and Misc Groups

Lastly, we hope you enjoy the boards. If you have questions regarding rules or regulations, you can always PM a Mod or an Administrator for more information - we're happy to help!
