Mickey - That's great that you were able to get the chocolate fountain so inexpensively. And you can us eit again!

mamapicklejuice - Thanks! I loved it and registered for it even though i did not NEED it (havoong sets of family and evryday china already). came in handy for events such as this when I'm trying to serve 25 though!

jajacobsen What a cool and unique shower idea!

Mickey&B That chocolate fountain looks so good! I went to a party with DH and there was a chocolate fountain there, but I was too shy to partake

I am in a bridal party for my cousin in November and am curious as to what type of shower we will be throwing. I hope no one here minds if I borrow some of your great shower ideas!

I just organized a Tiffany Blue Themed Shower:

    Boxes from Sopies Favors

They were filled with a silver heart bookmark
    Gift Bag From Party City:

    Crayons:

They were wrapped in bundles of 4 with a white satin ribbon. People used them to fill out the game booklet I made
    Cake:

My bridal shower was held at the home of my MOH's parents. I had no idea what it would be like, and I couldn't have been more happy. They did such an amazing job.

Each table had a different set of China to eat on:

Here was the food. I don't have anything closer:

Each of the tables had a different tea pot in with cookies as a centerpiece:

Everyone got to take home the tea cup and saucer that was at their place. I guess MOH and her mom spent weeks in antique shops and on eBay finding different ones. Old costume jewelry found in MOH's great-grandmother's attic was also incorporated into the decor.

And the mimosa fountain is behind me to the left:

(the lady with the nasty hair is DH's CRAZY grandmother. Enough said.)

I'm game to cump this again. My sister's getting married and I'd love some new ideas.... though I do have a few new ones from just this thread. Any new photos, or ideas for favours/invites/games, etc??

    TIA!

Here are some pics from my future SIL's shower that I threw.

Closeup of centerpieces on the little girls table. They each got their own flowerpot with their name on it. Inside were flower pens and notebooks.

Anyone know how to make these pictures bigger? I don't know if it's the new format or the fact that I haven't posted pictures in a while, but I had such a hard time getting these to post. I'm using Flickr if that means anything.
