    Default Catholics?

I don't want to take anything away from the Christian group thread, since I lurk there sometimes and think it's a great group, but I've been thinking that I'd like to have a place where I could discuss traditions and issues that were more specific to Catholics, and I thought maybe there were others who felt the same way. So let's see how this goes. Obviously, non-Catholics, former Catholics, etc. are welcome.

One note: I'm fairly liberal, both in my politics and in my practice of religion. Even though I'd like to be able to discuss political issues of interest here, I'd also like this thread to be respectful of our differences as Catholics. Thanks!

I guess I fit. Was raised Catholic, confirmed Lutheran, married in a Methodist church, and am now back at mass.

I'm in Thanks for starting this. I feel like some of the Chit Chat threads were being dominated by Catholic-related topics, so it's perfect that you started this.

I'm on board. I haven't been very observant since I finished college. But I'm in the process of wedding planning and I find myself thinking much more about faith.
