I have a king size bed with a very big mattress. Nothing would fit right. It was never wide enough. This is perfect. I love the very pretty colors. I looked at this quilt in the department stores and would have had to pay over $200. on sale for it. The price with Amazon was so good. Thanks so much. From the picture, I was thinking it was cotton and usually big name comforters and sheets are because they tend to be astronomical expensive.
The colours aren't accurately represented either. They're way more washed out and the one colour is more of a tan than cream.
I returned it and bought a gorgeous cotton set at JC Penny's for $20.00 more.

You really can't go wrong with Laura Ashley quality and this set will complement a number of color schemes: green, pink, cream, beige. Customer Rating: Summary: Poorly made Comment: My husband bought this and sadly, after three months, the striped material has pilled up and the ribbons that are sewn to the quilt fabric have pulled apart and the material is shredded, so that it can't be fixed. We are not hard on our bedspreads, as I always pull them back at night and no one ever sits on it. I have had Laura Ashley products in the past with no problems, so I didn't keep my receipt, and I was unable to make a return or exchange.
