Summary: very tight at calves and ankles
Comment: At 5'6" and 110 lb, I ordered size small. They are tight overall, but especially small in the calves, and the ankle holes are tiny. I had to struggle to get them on. The material is not very stretchy.
So for me, they are more like footless tights.
The material is nice and thick though and they were comfortable once I managed to get them on my legs. Color is rich and even throughout.

Summary: will buy more in other colors
Comment: I am 5'5" 1/2 and weight 125 lbs. I ordered the double espresso in a size small. The small was a good fit, however, they are at least 2-3 inches too long! Also, I had hoped for a dark brown and was disappointed to get more of a reddish brown. On the positive side, they fit great and I plan on ordering in other colors (except this time in petite!). They are very opague and not at all shiny which is what I wanted. I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a great basic pair of leggings.

Summary: Great leggings for good price
Comment: I have owned two pairs of these for about two years and just pulled them out again for autumn. I ordered long to be sure they were long enough and, with a 30-32 inch inseam, they are a little too long, but that gives them a somewhat Indian style! I am about to order a few more colors since I cannot seem to find tights that are thick enough fabric--everything is just too flimsy for even twice the price of these leggings.

Comment: These leggings are not for average weight women. They are extremely tight, and the material is not stretchable at all, so not a good fit. It is average cotton material, not very soft. I won't recommend it.

Summary: Great Leggings for Tall Women
Comment: I've been searching all over for ankle length leggings for tall women. Before I brought these, I wasted money on leggings that were 5Xs the price, barely touched my ankles and so-so for fit. I'm tall (6') and these leggings from Newport fit long on me and make the legs look shapely. I love them! And the material is wonderful to wear under short skirts.
