Summary: Sorry I purchased this item
Comment: I wish I had the benefit of the reviews when I made this purchase. The light is almost non-existent so I am stuck with a lap desk on which I have to work around a clunky light fixture. I went through batteries so quickly that I stopped using them as I the light wasn't helpful and when I tried to replace them to give it another try, the coil broke so now it is totally unusable. Total waste of money.

Comment: Its really a very nice lap desk. Comfortable and sturdy with a carrying strap. If only the light were a bright LED light. Its incandescent
and makes weak streaks of light on the desktop.

Comment: This is a great lap desk. It is light and comfortable, and it doesn't get hot sitting on my lap. My only concern is that the light sometimes gets in the way. I don't use it at all and wish that it wasn't there, but the rest of the desk is wonderful.

Comment: This is a BIG lap desk! If you need a lot of space, get this one. However, it is a little too much desk for my 15" laptop. Also, I never needed to use the light, so it gets in the way. Not to mention it makes my lap warm because the soft under cushion absorbs my natural body heat. A lap desk should keep a computer stable and cool, but it should also keep you from overheating too. Sadly, not recommended. :-(
