Comment: I've purchased two of these throws over the last few years, and neither lasted much more than a year, with the heating capability diminishing noticibly over time.

Summary: Can feel the internal warming cords/elements.
Comment: This blanket is extremely plush, like a soft robe, and I purchased it because it matched the color of my couch and I thought the concept of an electric throw was a good one. However, I don't like the feel of the heating elements that are inside because I think they are too obvious and make it feel less like a blanket. In my opinion, thinner, more flexible wiring could have been used for a more pleasant experience. Another problem is that the control unit changes adjustments too easily and you can accidentally bump up the temperature without really trying. Also, if I leave it on the couch at night, the cat can come along and accidentally turn it on by laying on the control unit. For that reason, I always make sure that I unplug it when I am done using it.
