Comment: Wow!!! I had my reservations when I purchased my penquin ice cube tray, but I was pleasantly surprised at the end result. From the moment I filled that tray up with room temperature water, I couldn't wait for my penguin ice to form. I almost had to physically pull myself away from the freezer so that the water would have enough time to freeze. When the time finally came, I filled my glass up high with penquins, sat down to my favorite evening television show, and had myself a fantastic night. Me, frozen penquins, and classic American sitcoms. It's a shame that ice melts...

Comment: Cute product, but it is NOT silicone.
This is a recycled rubber product. The title is highly misleading. If these get hot at all, they deform.

Summary: Everything I wanted!
Comment: This ice cube tray was everything I hoped it would be -- it is made of sturdy, good quality silicone, not some too-thin flimsy material. The ice cubes pop out easily when I push the back of the penguin mold, unlike some other silicone shaped ice cube trays where it takes a lot of effort to get the ice to pop out. Like all non-cube trays (i.e. ones with fun shapes), it's a bit of a hassle to fill it with water because you have to fill each individual compartment, not like with a regular tray where all compartments overflow into each other. Still, that's the small price I pay for exceedingly cute cubes :)

Comment: I bought this ice cube tray as a birthday gift for my girlfriend. She loved it a lot since she loves penguins. Just like other reviews stated the ice cube tray is a bit tricky to fill without spilling. It is indeed easy to pop out the ice cubes. I'd say this leans more towards the novelty gift category than everyday use, but if you love penguins a lot I'm sure you'd could get past the spilling of a little water when filling.

Summary: lose shape quickly
Comment: I have the penguins and the stars. The penguins turn into balls really fast. The stars hold their shape for about 5 minutes, then turn into balls. I think the tray is easier to use than some of the other reviewers.
