Summary: Best Drip Maker
Comment: This is a superb small drip maker. Makes coffee using the same low-tech method of manually hand-pouring hot water through a cone filter, but it's automated. The removable/washable water tank is a real plus. I fill the thing to the highest point possible and it makes about 6 cups, instead of just 5. Wish it had slightly larger capacity, but this machine is so fabulous I wouldn't settle for a different brand just for more cups. The manual says that consecutive brewing is possible with a 5 minute rest in-between, if you want more.
I remove the filter portion after coffee has stopped dripping, and put the lid back and this makes pouring much easier to do. Otherwise, the weight of the wet filter and grounds makes pouring a bit tricky.
The price is much higher than I would normally spend, but this coffee maker is soooo worth the extra cost. Absolutely delicious coffee from a well-designed and aesthetically-pleasing machine.

Comment: I have a two other Zojirushi products, the hot water dispenser and the rice maker. They are both brilliant products that work well and are well made.
While made to a high standard the Zutto coffee maker is a borderline product. The hot plate that is built into the Zutto keeps the coffee too hot, quickly (minutes) causing it to 'cook' and go bad after brewing.
I recommend you look for another machine that uses a thermal carafe if you want drinkable coffee after the first cup.

Comment: Easy to handle and clean up. Charcoal water filter is huge plus to my coffee flavor and aroma. I also use their IH rice cooker at home. Zojirushi brand products are just wonderful :-)

Summary: Hot - Hot - Hot Fabulous Coffee
Comment: This little coffee maker is HOT!! - in looks, taste and temperature. I was reluctant to give it a try because of complaints about the coffee not being hot and it was a bit pricey. However, I really like the removable water container convenience that I had with my Mr. Coffee (can't find any more) so took a chance. I'm glad I did because it seems as though any previous problems with coffee temperature have been resolved. I'm delighted and think this machine absolutely fabulous.
