Summary: if you're going green this is a good product
Comment: I bought this product because I was suggested it to replace the paper filters. It can be used over and over again. You don't get that bleach in you from having the filters bleached. The brown filters work the same but you'll be spending more money on the filters that you throw away any way so why not try this.

Comment: I recommend the GTF-4 filter with a moderate reservation. I found buying, storing and fumbling with paper filters to be a lot of trouble. This filter makes all that a thing of the past. It is easy to clean and I've never had ground overflow problems. I'm glad I got it.
On the down-side, the filter seems a little flimsy and I have concerns that with much use over a couple years the plastic may crack or the filter may wear through making it useless. For the price it was worth a try. It isn't a stupendous product nor is it a complete turkey.
All things considered I give this an acceptable rating..
