Summary: LOVE THIS HOOVER!!!
Comment: The Hoover hard floor cleaner is the best for our household. We have concrete floors & use the tile & grout brush, works GREAT! The reason I gave it only 4 stars is I wish both of tanks were larger. It is very user friendly. No more towels to clean up water spills either. My recomendatation is to keep this machine in an easy accessable place, if you have a big spill,(like water running into a jug & 4 gallons of water on the floor)works great, or you just want to spot clean. Also you can't beat the price for this model, best value for the money by far.. I have researched this product online & in stores. Can't even find this model in the stores as of Jan. 1 '09

Comment: I have only used this item twice, but it cleans so much better than a mop and bucket. It does leave a little moisture on surface of flooring, but not enough to damage anything. This isn't a product to make your cleaning fast, but it is very thorough and you don't have to bend or stoop to clean your floor. I have laminate, vinyl, hardwood and tile in my house and I use it on all of them with no complaints.

Summary: Beats being on your hands and knees
Comment: I bought this unit about a year ago. Believe it does a pretty good job. Observations. I don't use the Hoover cleaning fluid. I use Fabulosa, Lysol or Spic & Span. Use only a 1/2 of the measuring device or the floor will be sticky. Yeah the tanks are small but not that much of a pain to fill or empty. My biggest gripe was that the two plastic levers holding the brush cover would constantly work loose. After about 9 months of this infuriating problem I decided to fix it. Drilled two small holes through the levers and then two smaller starter holes into the base. Attached retaining screws and problem solved. Wish I had thought of it sooner.

Comment: I was skeptical to order another Hoover product, since the last two vacuums I bought lasted barely longer than one year each. But, there is a very limited selection of hard floor cleaners on the market. So, I gave it one last shot. BIG MISTAKE!! This floor cleaner lasted all of 30 minutes before the cleaning brushes quit working. Hoover was no help at all, just stated they had approved repair shops. We took it there and they found initially that the motor for the spinning brushes was burned out. After a month, they later reported the main motor was burned out too, and we aren't sure when we are going to get it fixed?! We only used the cleaner for 30 minutes!! When it was operating, it did pretty good. But, what kind of product is Hoover making these days?! I WISH I could have found a different hard floor cleaner. I looked everywhere on the internet, but this was the best option. If you ask me, it isn't an option at all. Don't buy Hoover!! You will be disappointed, if not immediately, eventually when they breakdown much sooner than you would expect. Usually, it is after the 1 year warranty. This time it was after only 30 minutes of use. :-(
