Advanced penetrating microbond protection Maximum protection against all stains Makes cleaning stone easier Preserves natural look Water-based low-solids coating Interior & exterior
Where to Use Natural stone such as marble, granite, limestone, slate, terrazzo, travertine & sandstone. Best suited for the most porous stone surfaces.
Directions Always test in a small inconspicuous area with a 24-hour cure time to determine ease of application and desired results. Allow new grout installations to cure for a minimum of 72 hours prior to application. Make sure surface is clean, dry and free of waxes and coatings.
Mask off and protect any baseboards or adjacent areas to avoid splashing and overspray onto surfaces not intended to be treated. Sealer may be applied to damp surfaces one hour after standing water has been removed. Liberally apply an even coat using a paint pad, low-pressure chemical-resistant sprayer, roller or brush.
Allow sealer to penetrate the surface for 15-30 minutes. During this time, distribute excess over entire area to insure even penetration. Wipe entire surface thoroughly with clean dry towel. A second coat may be needed for porous, absorbent surfaces and should be applied 30-40 minutes after initial application as directed in steps 3-4. A minimum of 15 minutes after final application, wipe entire surface with a clean dry towel to remove any excess sealer. If needed, dampen white nylon pad with sealer to remove residue and dry again thoroughly with clean dry towel. A full cure is achieved after 24-72 hours; foot traffic may begin in 6-8 hours. Cover with red rosin paper, if foot traffic must resume before the recommended time periods have passed. Clean equipment with water.
Size and Coverage - Quart: 50 - 300sq. ft.
Expected Wear: 3-5 years on interior surfaces & 1-3 years on exterior surfaces. Stonetech

Customer Rating: Summary: Granite counter top sealer Bulletproof works Comment: After having granite counter tops (honed black) installed in March 2008, we were told that after 6 months we needed to "re-seal" the granite to resisit staining. After much research and trying to find a "green" product, BullerProof was recommended to us by our installer as his recommendation and what they used in their shop. It went on so easily and with no offensive ordor. It now is back to where it was when it was first installed, resisting stains and water penetration. BPSS4-1G StoneTech BulletProof Stone Sealer, 1-Gallon Container
Customer Rating: Summary: Easy to apply, lasts reasonably long Comment: This sealer was fairly easy to apply (no tiring rubbing needed). Six months after the initial application it seems to have done a good job preventing any stains or disoloration of the granite countertops it was applied to.
Customer Rating: Summary: Don't bother Comment: I lugged this stuff halfway around the world to a house I was building on the Mediterranean and smugly announced to the installer that going forward nothing would penetrate the granite countertops, this product came from America!!! So now I have huge grease stains that will not go away and even water penetrates the granite, although the stain disappears after it dryes in the case of water. To any prospective buyer, ask for a sample. Perhaps it will work for you but despite careful adherene to instructions it was a total waste of money in my case.
Customer Rating: Summary: Was easy to apply and seems good. Comment: Price was good. Easy to apply. My only concern is that after applying 2 coats as directed and letting dry for 72 hours, standing water still cause the granite to darken. That would indicate to me that the water is penetrating the granite. Once dry, color returns to normal but is this typical? I would think once a sealer is applied, nothing should penetrate the stone. I applied this to the granite counters in my bathrooms. I'm glad I went with quartz counters in the kitchen. That looks as good or better, requires no sealing and is maintenance free.
Customer Rating: Summary: Great Sealter Comment: I have solid surface granite countertops in my kitchen and solid surface travertine countertops in my bathrooms. I used this sealer on both of them. Very easy to apply. I had to use two coats on the travertine. Water now beads on my countertops like water on a freshly waxed car hood. It did leave a bit of a haze but I just cleaned that off with StoneTech's stone cleaner (also a great product).
