Summary: THE BIBLE OF SURFING
Comment: Surfer magazine is the premier magazine of the sport. I've been a subscriber since I started surfing and can't put it down. I always read each issue a couple times and then save it to read later. While not as sophisticated as "The Surfers Journal" but more serious than "Transworld Surf" SURFER is the perfect combination. I always look forward to their annual oversized collectors issue. Fascinating and enlightening articles, incredible action shots, and the latest news on anything and everything you need or want to know about surfing, you should already have your credit card out. Great reading for flat days, at work or school or at the beach.

Summary: Don't get fooled
Comment: There are currently two major surf magazines, SURFER and SURFING. Guess what? They are owned by the same magazine conglomerate, Primedia. Surfer used to bill itself as the "Bible" of the sport, and for a long time it was. But now, in keeping with the times of oligopolies and the hyper-commercialization of surfing, Surfer, along with it's younger partner, Surfing, is a piece of toilet paper. The editorial content has been dumbed down to general public intelligence, the photos are not as spectacular as they used to be, and the characters they cover, the surfers themselves are nowhere near as interesting and colorful as they used to be. Blah...

Summary: BEST MAG EVER!
Comment: I've had a subscripiton for 5 years now and Surfer is by far the best mag I've ever read, i could read it front to back or back to front 10 times and it would still be the best. It's almost a prescipition than a subscripition!

Summary: I would like to have a backnumber of SURFER.
Comment: I would like to have a backnumber, this means privious SURFER magazine, for instance, 1998/Dec, 1999/Jan, because either magazine may have a poster including the magazine. I would like to have the poster.So if I have to contact the publisher of the magazine SURFER, because I don't know which edition have the poster. What should I do to get the old edition magazine?

Comment: I Have Been Reading:SURFER Magazine,Since I Was A Teen-Ager,In Miami,Florida Back In The 1960's!From The Time That I Picked-Up That Early'60's Issue Of Surfer Magazine,I Was Hooked And Fascinated,With SURFER Magazine's,Great Artticles,Pictures And Surfboard Advertisements!I Am A Collector Of 1960's& 1970's Issues Of SURFER Magazine,It Is An Addiction.I Miss Surfing,But Reading Past&Present Issues Of Surfer Magazines,Is Very Enjoyable!I Never Get Tired Of Reading Or Collecting,1960's& 1970's Issues Of SURFER Magazine.I Highly Reccomend SURFER Magazine,To Anyone Who Loves Surfing& Following Surfing All Over The World.If You Start Reading SURFER Magazine,You Will Love It Also,and Be Addicted To Reading It,Just As I Am!
