I know you're measuring ahead but you're not actually DUE until January, right? So for him to say the baby won't turn b/c you are measuring 35 weeks, but you are actually what, 33 weeks? That seems so odd to me. I'm sorry they are upsetting you so much. I hope you get some reasonable answers soon.
ETA: Mindy - That is frustrating. Is it possible for you to give him a deadline, like it would be great if you could do the drywall work by X date (like 2 weeks or whatever) b/c after that I need to do xyz and I don't think I'll be able to do it after X weeks? Or something like that? My husband is not great w/ the abstract, but if there is a timeframe in place with reasons, that sometimes helps. I know what you mean, though. I am a "I need it done NOW" person and it's hard to convey that rationally sometimes.
PLUS, he has freaked me out to no end!!!! The whole shoulders stuck and bruising the baby made me so upset. I have mentally started preparing myself for a c-section, but I feel so upset over the whole thing. Uggggghhhhhh!!!
Don't let the Dr scare you into a c-section if that is not what you want, if the baby is breech that is different. Any baby can have bruising. They can have a pointy head. It goes away in a couple days. To me it is like saying the cord may wrap around the neck so you need a c-section. Are there other Dr's in the practice? If so I would get their opinions. Did the u/s tech happen to mention the baby's weight? I hope you get a call soon!
Anyone else going to see New Moon this weekend? I'm going tomorrow night with my mom group friends. I have had my ticket for almost amonth, I can't wait!

Thank you for all of the responses. My doctor is the only one in the practice...I went with him after the fertility specialist because of the small practice. The tech told me the baby was 5lb4oz at the ultrasound and said I should be measuring 32w and instead was 35w. Hubby was a big baby...9lb5oz. The breech thing is the whole issue at this point I think. I was hoping they would call me yesterday...no luck!!
New Moon--I really really want to see it, but will probably wait a few weekends...until the craziness dies down a bit!!
I had my weekly appt with my OB on Monday and had my first NST and both babies passed. I am up 34 pounds and my blood pressure is still normal and no swelling yet. My uterus is measuring 39 1/2 cm.
I also had an appt with my Peri yesterday. Baby A is breech and measuring 4 lbs 1 oz, he was 3 lbs 3 oz two weeks ago. Baby B is transverse and measuring 4 lbs, he was 2 lbs 15 oz two weeks ago. The doctor is very impressed with their weights but because of their positions and the lack of room, they will be born via C-section which I am okay with. They will not plan a c-section until January 12 but do not expect me to make it until then.
Congrats to akacharlotte and Byrds! You are both in my thoughts and prayers.
Just a quick note--had my u/s yesterday. They said I have a left lateral placenta, & it is not covering the cervix. They are going to evaluate and see if it is covering the old c/s scar. Baby is estimated to weigh 4lb11oz. Her heart rate was good, & my fluid level was good. They could not get a good look at my cervix by u/s, tech said baby's head is very low. Tell me about it, I can feel her big noggin down there. DH & I both have pretty big heads and we seem to produce kids with big ole noggins too. Ha! I noticed when they measured just her head it was measuring about a week bigger then the rest of her. Just like DD1!
Stacey- I have been reading your updates and continue keeping you, Liam, and Jason in my thoughts. I'm so glad you were able to hold Liam for the first time.
Beth- Let us know if you hear anything!
klanae- glad your appointment went well!

I don't understand why the guys at my husband's work have become so chatty lately, but they completely freaked him out yesterday that our u/s was wrong and we will really end up with a boy. Obviously we would be happy either way, but we have clearly planned for a girl (painted room lavender, all girl clothes, etc). I tried to explain to him that there are worse things, but it was really very annoying. Also, he did not believe me that there is a (pretty commonly accepted) difference between a 'girl belly' and a 'boy belly' and mine is totally girl. He thinks I made that up to patronize him. Other than that, I think I'm actually pretty done getting things ready. I hired cleaners to do a 'deep cleaning' this afternoon and tomorrow morning we're getting our carpets cleaned. Yay cleanliness!
klanae: Sounds like you are doing great!
beth: I hope you hear something today!
Melissa: Sounds like good news overall! Are you hoping for a VBAC?

Part of me wishes I could try for a VBAC. Before I got pregnant though my RE did an u/s checking for follicles and uterine abnormalities. She said my old c/s scar was very thin and poorly healed (despite being a 3 year old scar when the u/s was done), and she said in her personal opinion it put me at a higher risk for rupture. So, most likely we will go ahead with the c/s on 12/28. I just can't get her warning out of my mind.

I can totally understand that. The scar/incision in my ute is less than 2 years old (22 months) and I worry about the baby getting too big and how much pressure my scar/incision can take before rupture would occur and all types of other headaches (that I probably don't need to be concerned with).

We really need to get on this too! My DH was supposed to get it done this past weekend.

laura- I missed what you said about a deep cleaning until Poca quoted it. That sounds sooo nice! I may have to get our clutter picked up and do that sometime in these next few weeks.
Poca- Ugh, I know. I sometimes freak myself out by reading rupture stories. Just in part trying to learn what to watch out for, warning signs, etc...but then I feel like .
