When I don't answer the phone it's because I'm busy. Having a 5 yo, 4 yo, and 6 mo I can't always get to the phone. And I don't always want to - sometimes my kids need my undivided attention. I've told you this. So please do not call my husband at work again, telling him you are worried because my car is in the driveway and I'm not answering the phone. It was 3 pm for crying out loud.
But it was great for you to come over to "check" if we were OK, and then proceed to leave your 3 yo grandson at my house because you "really need a break". Just what I need, one more kid to take care of. The idea of a "break" is a concept I'm not familiar with. Thanks.
And if you tell me that I really look tired and I should go for a hike one more time I'm going to slap you. I'll get right on that, I hike with three kids. Sounds like fun.
Back off,
me
God, I miss my neighborhood in New England, where the houses weren't right on top of each other and I could breathe. And people minded their own freaking business.
Dear teacher who called my kid a brat in front of her kid (in my kids class) and her kid repeated it to me and my kid when I picked up yesterday:
You suck. Even if you think my kid is a brat, as a teacher, you should keep your opinion to yourself or limit speaking your opinion to people who won't repeat it to me or my child. Thanks for making me cry last night on the ride home when my daughter asked why Ms. J called her a brat.
This is the same child you are having evaluated for SPD right? I'd demand a new teacher.

Cr8Zy - I'd pull my kid from the school and do my best to get that teacher disciplined in any way possible. NO child should be called a brat, whether it be to their faces or behind their backs. I'm sorry you and your DD had to hear that, that teacher should not be working with kids. All kids display bratty behavior, it's part of being a kid.
Ma'am, I'm very sorry, but I'm not a trip planner on public transportation! It is your responsibility to know how to get to your destination once you make an appointment. Calling me to ask how to get here from E. Boston on public transportation and then telling me you are going to get lost when I tell you that I don't know, is quite frankly, not my problem! There is a wonderful thing called the internet, when I don't know how to get somewhere, I look it up!
