I second (or third) the recommendation for the Walgreen clinic. My stepdad had something going on with his eye when he was visiting from CT early this year. You know how crazy it can be to see a doctor when you are out of town and the ER is very hectic and slow. So he went to a Walgreens about 2 minutes from my house and was in and out within an hour with prescription in hand. He also received a follow-up call the next day. We were all quite impressed and he was better in no time.

OMG, this is such a funny site. The Halloween meatloaf post is creepy, but quite hilarious.

I love how they mention things that I'm thinking while watching some of the shows.

Hysterical...I love this:

That’s right. The Ace Of Cakes crew gave A PIECE OF PIE SITTING ON TOP OF A FORK to Oprah Winfrey, a woman who’s been publicly struggling with her weight for decades. Genius!

I recommend that if you are looking for a wool coat this winter, get thee to an Old Navy...50% off all outerwear right now! (or coats for anyone in the family for christmas)

I got this coat (but in brown) for $30, regular $59.95. It fits better and looks better than anything I found at Burlington Coat Factory for twice the price. They had a bunch of different styles/lengths, the short one just looked better on my body type. They had more variety in store than they do online.

Funny you mention this ... I was just at Old Navy today with my daughter and was disappointed to see that the coats were at most 70% wool; the ones she liked best were about 60%. They were pretty nice looking and if you're looking for something to drive around in, that's probably fine. But for walking to a school bus stop and waiting there for the bus, I'd rather pay a bit more for the warmth. I paid $70.00 for a full length 100% down jacket for myself at Burlington Coat Factory and will be taking my daughter there instead.

True, the ON coats are not the highest quality. But for me, it suited my purpose perfectly. With a toddler I didn't want to spend a fortune on a coat just to have it spilled on, drawn on or any one of 100 other toddler incidents to ruin it. I have a nice weatherproof coat already so what I needed was something to wear out to dinner with my husband besides a hoody. I looked at Burlington and didn't find anything I liked with the fit I wanted.

has anyone recommended Amazon Prime yet? I forget the fee, but it has totally paid for itself in free, upgraded shipping. I love it.
