Yesterday a woman in my building noticed that I'm pregnant(with my third child). Her response?

"Don't you people have a television?" How rude was that?!

A good friend of mine is acting very bitchy towards me lately because I simply haven't had time to get together with her (I had a baby 6 weeks ago, my third). Between the schedules of my older 2 kids (school, activities, etc) and the fact that everyone has been sick, and the fact that we're just now getting my baby to take a bottle... I've been a bit stressed out. I just don't think that my friend gets this, and I'm a bit annoyed that I have to justify my actions when I'm NOT going out with her (she also has 2 kids, but her youngest is almost a year old, and was never anything except formula fed, so she doesn't get the whole bottle battle) so that I can spend time with my older 2 kids, one of which is really acting out at home since the arrival of his baby sister. Ugh.

Imagirliegirl - A woman said the EXACT same thing to me last year when we were at the pumpkin patch with my 23 month old and my 10 day old twins. She asked how old DD1 was then said, "wow, 3 under 2, you guys need to buy a TV!" Um, they're twins you dipstick, for all you know we've only ever DTD twice in our lives!! People are just stupid and rude.

Dear DH,
Why haven't you finished fixing the first floor bathroom and all of the other projects you started but still haven't finished over a year ago?!

I'm pregnant. Let me rephrase this...this is a high-risk pregnancy and I can be put on bedrest at any time and face a high likelihood of a c-section in the immediate future. I have gently tried to explain to you that I will need access to a first floor bathroom if I need a c-section and want food/water and mind the children all in the same place.

Nevermind the fact that you started this reno over a year ago when you were unemployed and needed "something to do".
Next week I will be calling contractors myself to get somebody to finish every.single.project in this house. Yes, it will be expensive, but so is divorce!

"Winter" - please go quickly and leave us alone after this!

I work part-time (3 days) at a university and part-time at home editing. Two weeks ago I was out with sick DD1 two of my three days. Last week I was out with sick DD2 two of my three days. Today DD2 woke up with goop coming out of her eyes and DH is staying home in the morning, his parents are coming at noon-ish, and then I'll come home after that if the ped's appt. we get is for the afternoon. I told him that if I called in sick today, I may as well quit. They may just fire me, too. Neither of which would be such a bad thing at this point!

And "winter" isn't even really here yet!

SIL/BIL -
Seriously, BIL, you're a SAHD and yet you pawn off neice to MIL ALL.THE.TIME. It's a no-school day and yet you can't spend time with her or at least pick her up before MIL is to come to my house to watch DS for 2 hours? I NEVER ask MIL watch DS and today is an emergency-like situation where I have no choice (and was also planned in advance). This is seriously annoying. DS will be sleeping when MIL and neice get here and now there is a good chance neice will wake DS since she is typically loud and hyper. Oh and now I also get to move all of DS's toys that make noise out of the living room to prevent those from waking DS.

MIL -
Learn how to say no. Also, I don't need you here before 1:30, DH told you that I have a 2:00 appointment and that 1:30 is fine. Again, this is so annoying. I miss my regular sitter!!!
