Oh Scout, I'm so sorry for your loss. You don't have to come back and answer, but I'm just thinking out loud- why did the Drs not realize it was your water leaking when you went to the hospital before?? It seems like they should have caught something like that- but maybe there wasn't anything that could have been done even if they did know?? I'll be thinking of you and your family during this incredibly difficult time

Scout- I can't even begin to tell you how sorry I am. I was truly hoping for a different outcome. I will continue to keep you, Daniel and the rest of your family in my prayers and hope that you can all eventually find some peace in all of this. Hang in there.

That was the most difficult update I've had to make. I wish there was a better way to commemorate Daniel's life and your loss, Scout. I hated removing your details, but I understand wanting to separate yourself from this thread. Be sure to let us know if there's anything else we can do.

I don't know. The amniotic fluid test they did was negative, and went I went to follow up, it was too late. I would recommend that if anyone is leaking fluid, don't rely on that test. Follow up. As it is, I don't think there was much that could be done. Once my water broke, it was over.

I won't be popping back in, so I wanted to give everyone "permission" to start the thread back up with regular pregnancy issues. I know that when I was pregnant with my first son, a mom lost her baby late, and it was awkward to post about pregnancy questions, and I know everyone had questions about their pregnancies, but were scared to be the first to post in case they seemed insensitive. The thing is, all of you are going through a happy time where you have lots of questions, and I wanted everyone to feel free to get back to discussing pregnancy things. I wish you very happy and healthy pregnancies. While I'm mourning a big loss, I do have two children here with me, and I feel very blessed for that.
