we've got a thread for bags, a thread for clothes..... so now let's bring on the shoes!
i recently scored these bad boys on ebay. i had actually lost the auction {failed to meet reserve}, but pleaded with the seller to sell them to me anyway, and she agreed!
pic is not so hot - they are gold & orange brocade.
I love shoes, and I've bought a ton lately. In fact I probably have 5-6 pairs I haven't even worn yet. The majority of mine are mid-range in price, mostly b/c I don't feel comfortable having 40 pairs of $300+ shoes. I have a couple of pairs of Stuart Weitzman, and the rest are a mix of whatever. Recently I've been mostly focused on work stuff.

ALL shoes are welcome here... i certainly do not intend this thread to be about high-end shoes only.
in fact, one of my favorite pairs of shoes this summer - is an old pair from Sears!
i really need to get more "work-appropriate" shoes, i tend to wear the same ones into the ground, usually flats.
laura...
i REALLY like that first pair you posted... very very cute.
ann taylor surprises me with their shoes sometimes!
Yep, and they're on sale. Odd color *and* suede is a bold move for me, but I figured for $50 - WTH. I'm extremely matchy with my shoes to my outfit, almost in an OCD way, so I'm trying to be better about branching out from black/brown. And suede - well, it just doesn't wear well, but oh well!
Excellent question about what I will wear the green with. I have a pair of those pink beaded shoes that are so trendy now and I hardly ever wear them b/c I can't figure out what they go with. I guess neutrals? I think the green would look great w/ jeans - I just need to figure out the shirt issue!
