Default Left pork loin out all night. What do you think?

I pulled a frozen pork loin out of the freezer last night and put it in warm water to thaw it (it was still in the package). Well, I completely forgot about it and left it in the sink all night. When I got up this morning I immediately put it in the fridge. Do you think this would be ok to eat still? Or should I throw it out? Normally I'd throw it out but bc it was previously frozen and still packaged I'm just not sure.

I would throw it out. I've gotten food poisoning numerous times from both pork and chicken so I take no risks.

When it is just our family, I admit to being pretty loose with food safety rules. If it were on the counter in ambient temperature overnight, I wouldn't hesitate to cook it. But in warm water, like 100f, I feel like that would accelerate the process beyond my comfort zone even and would probably cook it for the dog.

I agree with HK. On the counter, I would still eat it. In a water bath, probably not.

I agree- Nope toss. If it had just been on the counter then I'd say safe.

How warm was the water? I've used warm water to help defrost only to find it ice cold a bit later from the frozen meat. If that happened in my house last night I'd still probably cook it. The windows were open so my first floor was cold this morning. I think it totally depends on the circumstances. If your questioning it then toss it.

I would toss it. Not worth the risk IMO.

I would toss it. It also depends on how "touchy" your digestive systems are, though. My boys and I get every. single. stomach bug and I get sick from foods/food poisoning easily. My DH and his side of the family, however, constantly it old/expired foods, food left sitting out all night, etc. and never get sick from it! They must have built up a really good tolerance over the years, LOL!
