    Default Survivor: Philippines

Survivor: Philippines will premiere on Sept. 19th!

The complete list of this season's cast is HERE. No one has objections to talking about the cast if they've been publicly identified and will appear in show promos, right? Just checking before we discuss. There are some interesting and controversial choices this season.

I'm excited! Though a return of Colton would've been more interesting to me than Jonathan.

I haven't gone to check out the cast yet, but I'm definitely looking forward to this season based on what I've seen in the previews!

Did you all watch the Survivor preview on TV Guide channel? I always enjoy that.

I was surprised by how much I liked what Lisa Whelchel had to say. She seems smart and savvy about the game. I'll be curious to see if people vote her off immediately, just because they know her from TV, or if she can form a good alliance.

I am rooting against Jeff Kent right out of the gate. He's not a good guy IRL. I do tend to enjoy the villains on Survivor, but I think Jeff Kent is just a rotten person, and I'll be glad when he's gone. Hopefully early, in some blaze of typically jerky behavior.

Excited about the returning Survivors. Especially Michael Skupin. His season was so long ago, I think he's either going to come back and not be able to hack it, or have studied the game all these years and now be a major player. Not sure how it'll go, but I can't wait to watch.

I'll be watching this season, as that's where my Dad is from! Plus, I don't believe they've ever filmed there before!

I'm excited for this season! I am a huge Facts of Life fan and Survivor Australia was my favorite season. So I'm rooting for Lisa and Michael!

Who are the other two returning Survivors besides Michael?

So happy that Michael and Lisa are on the same team! I'm rooting for team yellow! I thought tonight was a good episode. This is the first time in a long time that I've been excited to watch the show!

Yeah, this was a really great premiere! There are some very interesting characters this season, and don't seem to be a lot of useless pretty boys/girls.

Agreed-- go team yellow! It looks like Lisa isn't fitting in very well, sadly. We'll have to see how that goes. You can be a super fan, but that doesn't mean you can deal with the politics and deprivation that come with this game. Her tribe skews younger, for the most part, and seems to be very strategically savvy. If Lisa doesn't get off on the right foot, I don't know if she can recover.

Russell was lucky to make it through. He's just not very self-aware, is he?
