Default Birthday party - serve food or snacks?

DS's birthday party is coming up and we're having it out at a bouncy place. The party time is 3:30 -5:30. Would you serve food like pizza or just snacks, like chips, fruit, veggie tray, etc?

Pizza as well. Usually I try to schedule parties either 1:30-3:30sish or after 6:30 so we don't have to serve a meal unless it's at a pizza place.

At a bounce place and that time, definitely pizza. By the time the kids are done jumping it will be close to dinner time.

I agree with everyone else and say pizza.

I would just expect snacks at that time, but we eat late so that's not my kid's normal meal time. Clearly we are in the minority though.

Thanks! Pizza it is. What's a good estimate of how much to get? Currently I have a good estimate of kids but unsure about the adults.

I always order 2 pieces per adult attending and 1 per child...it usually balances out!! I will also figure 1 slice per child on a pie cut into 8 pieces but will ask the place to cut into 16 if the kids are really young!! I always over order on food though!!

For that time, I wouldn't worry too much about feeding the adults. I don't think most adults expect to eat at a meal at a kids party.

My kiddos better not come to your party, lol! They usually eat at least 3 pieces and they're both really skinny. But I guess it would probably even out since I more than likely wouldn't eat.
