Pookie, funny you should say that. Before DS was born we said by the time he was 5 or 6 we would send him to Germany for the summer. Yeah well, he is 6.5 and has NEVER been away from us for even one night. Somehow this sounded like a much better idea in theory. I know if we did send him for a summer he would probably come back fluent but I just couldn't do that. And I'm not able to take more than 2 weeks of vacation in the summer so we can't go for very long.
