It depends on your provider and where you live. If you're close to the border you can usually pick it up for free over an antennae. The main channel is CBC. www.cbc.ca often has good online coverage as well.

Back in '92 my parents had one of those huge satellite dishes and we watched them on one of the French Canadian channels. Don't speak French, but saw a lot more footage than we otherwise would've.

You can also check international channels' websites to see if they'll be streaming some of their video. I just went to the CBC site and found videos of news reports on Canadian track & field athletes. http://www.cbc.ca/sports. This article has links to what they say will be live streaming of the finals. We'll have to see if they upload video of the actual games, but I don't know why they wouldn't.

Speaking of track & field, have you all watched Sanya Richards-Ross at the trials? I am totally fascinated with her. She is so crazy fast and she makes it look easy. After the race, when she's blown away the competition and the other athletes are huffing and puffing on the ground, Sanya is smiling and giving interviews, her hair's still all cute and she's barely broken a sweat.

We watched the Rock Center interview with Gabby Douglas last night. I missed the gymnastic trials but the highlights they showed on Rock Center...wow. I'm really looking forward to watching her compete.

I watched it as well. I love Gabby! I first saw her a few years ago as an up and coming gymnast. I am so happy to see her at the top of her game. My main "fear" for her is if they have her on the balance beam. I have yet to see her perform a solid beam routine.

I just set my TiVo for the first week of events. I will watch the prime time events on live tv, but I really enjoy watching the less popular events - mainly the equestrian events. Of course those broadcasts are 11 hours long!

I'm a huge Gabby fan, too. During the trials, I was rooting for her and Kyla Ross the most. Love them both. This seems like a pretty solid team, overall.
