Oh gosh - I had no idea, and I am usually 'up' on this stuff! lol (I knew he had split from his wife, but that's all!) Guess I should watch what I say!
To be fair, there have been rumors for many years that Chris is not exactly faithful while he's away shooting The Bachelor/ette. Remember when whatshername, Rozlyn?, got thrown off the show for fooling around with a producer, and she accused Chris of calling the kettle black?
I think Emily may have ended up being my favorite Bachelorette (which I never would have fathomed possible on her annoying Bachelor season). She made good decisions, made them pretty quickly for the most part, and then stood by those choices. And she looked really happy at the AFTR show. Could this relationship actually work out? Call me crazy, but maybe!
I actually got teary. I was pretty surprised that she chose Jeff, but I knew when she agreed to let him meet her daughter, that he was the one. I loved the way she handled the whole thing. I wasn't totally convinced that she was madly in love with him and thought maybe she chose the safe bet, but then on AFTFR, I saw that she was clearly in love. I hope, hope, hope it works out for them.
I was hoping she'd pick Jef, her face just lights up around him!
What a huge difference between Emily's demeanor at this AFTR and the AFTR from Brad's season.
I hope this works out for them. They are very cute together!
"...human beings are not born once and for all on the day their mothers give birth to them, but life obliges them over and over again to give birth to themselves."
I didn't watch Brad's second season (only one I haven't seen other than the very first I think) but just based on what I knew of Emily from coverage and what I knew of Brad from his original season, I never would have expected at the beginning of this season that she'd pick someone like Jef. I thought it was great though, and I think she made smart choices at the end that actually gave this show some credibility rather than just entertainment fluff for me. It was sooo refreshing to see someone say they couldn't even fake their way through the final date so why bother with it, etc.
On to the one show that I am almost embarrassed to watch in front of my own DH: Bachelor Pad.
