    Default Cow's Milk

    DD will be turning 1 on 5/24/12 up until this point I have been pumping and nursing her. I have noticed in the past few days my milk supply had dropped, I was wondering if it would be okay to start her on cows milk since she is so clost to 1... I know the rec is to wait till 1 but I dont know what else to do!! HElP!

    I wouldn't hesitate to introduce cows milk at 11+ months. You can also start replacing those calories with food and water.

    I would go ahead with introducing cos milk. You could mix it with expressed BM to start with.

    No! If you mix it with pumped milk, you'll have to pitch what she doesn't finish. Try it on its own first so you don't lose milk you are already struggling to make.
