How are you getting so many points on Swagbucks? I've been on there for months and months, but have not been accumulating many points. Are you just using the search engine and daily poll, or is there something else you find effective. I can't do the videos. Too much time for too few points.
I started in mid-February and so far have earned and redeemed $55 worth of Amazon gift cards. I do a lot of surveys. If possible, it's best to check it throughout the day since when the surveys close, they come off your dashboard.
I just checked into this thread to see what it was about and I'm curious about the secret shopper things. Has anyone ever done that? I shop quite a bit, and even enjoy window shopping now that I'm trying to cut way back on what I spend. I found that just wandering around and checking out the great deals gives me the shopping rush, even if I only end up buying $10 worth of stuff (vs. the $50 worth I would have spent before). It would be kind of fun to get stuff/money for doing what I like anyway.
ETA: does Swagbucks show up on your facebook if you don't use it to sign in? I don't use facebook much and pretty much never do or sign up for anything that will be mining my FB information.
Good judgement comes from experience, and most of that comes from bad judgement. -From a bumper sticker I saw once
As long as it is within 7 days of the original airing, yes!
Do you know if you still get the bonus points?
Tracy - I haven't found any mystery shopping jobs. The only thing that I've found that's even remotely similar is the Field Agent app, but that doesn't actually have you shopping for anything. They give you assignments to go to a certain store, take pictures of certain things and answer some questions. You submit the assignment and get paid, no actual shopping though.
As far as Swagbucks and FB, I don't believe it does. I haven't noticed any activity on my FB and I never granted SB permission to access my info.
I checked in to a show that was on my DVR, about two hours after it had aired and got the bonus points, last night! Now, I don't know if I only got the bonus points because it was the same evening or not though. So, I would say you should, but I can't be 100% on that.
ETA: Just came across this on Viggle Support's twitter account. "Bonus points are intended for shows watched live but you should get them if you watch the recorded version within a day."

I write a local blog about things to do in the area, so I do a lot of searching every day.
Ok one more question....I just checked into the last 5 min of Survivor. Will I still get the full amount of points allowed for that show? And also, can you be checked in to more than 1 show at a time? And how do you know how many points for each show?

If there are no bonus points, you earn 60 points per hour. So you will probably only get 5 points (plus whatever 5 minutes worth of bonus points will be) for Survivor and you can only be checked in to one show at a time. At the end of the show, Viggle usually sends a push notification saying how many points you earned for watching that show.

If there are bonus points, you have to be checked in to a show for at least 10 minutes to earn those points. Usually, if there are multiple bonus point shows on at the same time, I'll check in to one, wait 11 minutes, check in to another, etc. During primetime, you can easily earn over a thousand bonus points in a night.
