Our tax money was deposited into our bank acct last night. Most of it is going into a seperate savings acct that I need to open, but knowing that a nice chunk of money is sitting in my acct is KILLING me, I want to sepend, lol. And DH has the card, so I can't spend anything!!
lol, the WOH and SAH thing is cracking me up. I loved being at home, and I love being at work. Honestly what drove me back to work was the moms in our area. Basically I'd say 90% of moms in my area are SAH, and you get weird stares when you say you work something outside of retail or waiting tables. I just can't stand how closed minded they are, and it was so refreshing to get back to work where people can hold a decent conversation and can think on their own and not just recite garbage!
I confess I just changed my cleaning service day from Wednesday to Friday because when they came on Wednesday, it was during the time my ILs were over babysitting and by the time I got home the house was completely trashed again.

At the beach life is different. Time doesn't move hour to hour, but mood to moment.
We live by the currents, plan by the tides and follow the sun.

I had to do the same thing. Drove me crazy to have my house a disaster the same day the housekeeper came.
I confess that I'm claiming jetlag for my tiredness and will go home after lunch. Truth is, while jet lag is a part of it, I also stayed up until 2am reading. Ooops.

What are you reading? I figure it must be good if it keeps you up that late!
I confess I happily went back to work full time after maternity leave because spending all day with an infant just wasn't my cup of tea.
YES! After all these posts re: infants and staying home I confess I am so glad that I am not the only one who couldn't wait to get back to work and dislikes the infant stage. (It's so nice to see some validation...)
