I'm reading The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time which is written from the point of view of a 15 year old boy with Autism (or something like it...it never directly says). I didn't know anything about it; I just picked it at random from my library's selection of eBooks, but I'm really enjoying it.
Ahhh, I love this book! It was a big favorite here on the boards a couple years ago. Definitely highly recommended, IIRC!
I finished The Leftovers and I liked a lot! The subject matter was a bit of a turn off for me at first, but the way Perrotta dealt with it was so real and grounded, and he really captured the global sentiment of loss and despair that would define the world in a "left behind" situation. After awhile all I really cared about were the characters.
I started Ready Player One because after that, I am ready for something a little lighter and a little more fun!

I read this several years ago and thought it was okay. It was an interesting POV that definitely made me think.
Yesterday I finished Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children. The ending was definitely a set up for a sequel, so I'm glad I knew that going in. I liked all the pictures and the way the author gave them a nice story instead of them just being a bunch of freaky photos. I liked it enough to read the sequel.
I'm reading Cutting for Stone (I don't buy books, so I'm often way behind on "it" books because everything depends on when I get stuff from the library). I'm about 20% of the way in, and I'm not liking it. It is slow and depressing. Does it turn a corner? I'm really wanting to give it up, and I'm not usually like that with books.

I abandoned The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern. Started off interesting, but I am 1/4 way through of a ~400 book and hardly anything happened.... too slow for me.

It definitely picks up. I had a lot of trouble getting through the first 100 pages, but I wound up loving the book.
I am on a James Patterson kick right now because my library has pretty much all of his books available for my kindle.
I just finished The Angel Experiment which is the first book of a series of young adult books. I'm not sure if it qualifies as dystopian or if it is just some kind of fantasy book but I got hooked and can't wait to read the next one (I'm currently waitlisted).
I am now reading 3rd Degree which is the third book in the Women's Murder Club series.

This was another one (as was The Night Circus) that I made myself finish and I ended up not really liking it at all.

It did start out slow, and I wondered where it was going. But, it ended up being one of my favorite books that year. I *loved* it in the end. It does pick up, and you'll get more invested in the characters as the story progresses. Stick with it!
