So, I've found myself back in the 2WW after a miscommunication with DH over where I was in my cycle. We both agree that while it's not ideal timing, we would gladly welcome the addition if I am indeed pg. Honestly I'm kind of excited at the prospect.

My period is 6-7 days late. I'm 14-15 DPO in any scenario. I'm pretty sure I ovulated (clomid, positive OPK, progestone levels good post-O). Why would I not be getting a positive test? Google has given me all kinds of varied advice, from "call your dr. and ask for a blood test" to "wait a week and try again."
Has anyone had this happen? Is there any reason to do anything but just wait?
rosebud, have you tried several different types of tests? Some of the brands did not come up as positive for me until my period was at least a week late, but others were + way earlier. It's confusing.
Otherwise I would say "call your dr. and ask for a blood test."
cactus, I've tried two different kinds of tests. Negative on both. With both of my previous pregnancies, I didn't get a positive until 14DPO, so I've been trying to be patient. But it's definitely been long enough that a test should be picking this up now. Very confusing!
Rosebud Clomid can lengthen your LP, so that could be it as well. However I've tested positive with all 4 of my pgs at different times. With my first (m/c), I didn't test posititve until 5 weeks. With DS, it wasn't until 16 dpo. DD was 9 dpo. My current pg was 12 dpo. So as you can see, it can vary greatly with the same person.

Rosebud~I got BFP's at all different DPO's with my kids as well - DD at 12DPO, DS1 at 10DPO, and DS2 at 14DPO. My 3rd pgcy (ended in m/c) was 10 DPO.
Lots of symptoms here for this timeframe (6 DPO), the main one being naps every afternoon because I simply cannot keep my eyes open and my being barely able to drag myself out of bed in the mornings. Once I'm awake, I full of energy, but man, it's hard to get up!

Well it's been a week - I tested weds and got a faint +, and blood tests at my RE Weds and Fri confirmed a pregnancy. But last night we were out and I came home to some spotting. So far I haven't seen any more, but I'm taking it a few hours at a time. The last 2 m/c have taken any joy or hope out of a pregnancy for me.
My next appt is an ultrasound at my RE Thurs if I make it that far.
