We saw Brave this weekend, and I liked it but didn't love it. For me, it wasn't as impactful as other Pixar films, despite the absolutely gorgeous setting and animation. Also, it was scarier than I thought it would be. We had to take our 4.5 year old DS out of the theater several times. I do think it's worth seeing, but maybe not for little ones, and don't expect it to blow you away.
I agree. We saw Brave on Friday. I liked it a lot, but didn't love it. I knew about the "curse", but didn't know what it was and was really thrown for a loop when it happened. I dont know what I was expecting the curse to be, but it certainly wasn't what it was. DD (5) was fine throughout the movie - no tears or hiding or anything. When we got out of the movie, I asked her if she liked it and she said yes, except for the scary parts...but she still wants both dress up dresses because dresses aren't scary. LOL

DH and I just saw Savages (Oliver Stone's latest movie) on Friday. It was excellent, but had very graphic, very violent scenes where I just had to look away. Also some pretty steamy sex scenes (I never look away for those, but just a heads up! ;-)).
