Default New way to say old/tired phrase

I'm working on some copy for my organization's membership drive. I seem to write the same.old.thing every time - and it annoys me.

I need some new ways to say (or new phrases):

    the cutting edge
    leading edge
    thought leader

Or, if anyone knows of a website I can search for some new phrases, I would greatly appreciate it.

My DH's compnay LOVES to say they are "industry leading". Which they're not, but that's not the point!

I'm in the software industry, and we love to use "emerging technologies." It focuses on the product rather than the company, but you might find a way to make that work.
