Teen Mom - you know you watch it

Since we always talk about it in other threads... Catelynn, Maci, Amber, and Farrah are back and as full of drama as ever.

Catelynn and Tyler are so - ugh. When you're 17, if your relationship is so strained you feel the need to go through counseling, you should break up. I'm really surprised they made such a mature decision in giving the baby up for adoption because they are painfully immature. I was on the edge of my seat waiting for them to change their minds after spending hours with the baby. Poor adoptive parents. You have to be so strong on both ends.

I feel really bad for Farrah. Her mother is a nut. It's got to be tough enough to be a teenager with a baby but to have the baby's dad die and your parents suck. It's an all-around mess.

Don't really know what to think about Maci, but her baby daddy is a douche.

Amber and Gary - "sigh*

I've seen one episode.

Gary and Amber - they are just awful. The proposal was painful to watch. That poor kid. The mom seems lazy and selfish and Gary needs to grow some balls.

Maci - is that the one with the little boy and baby daddy had a new girlfriend? Where are her parents?

Catelynn and Tyler - I really liked them on the 16 and pregnant when they put the baby up for adoption but now, they need to break up. Too much baggage for being so young.

Farrah - I felt bad for her - how did the dad die? Her mom seems unstable - what happened that she had to plead guilty and do an anger management class?

All and all and hot mess....I feel bad for the kids because they already have the odds stacked against them from an early age.

The carseats with these kids are painful to watch. Amber & Gary's daughter wasn't even buckled in riding on the highway in one shot on their way to FL and it seems like Farrah's daughter's carseat rocking back and forth in the backseat all the time.

Farrah's mom is truly crazy. She has the worst boundaries with Sophia. At the birthday dinner she saw Farrah's shirt that said "Sophia's Mom" and she totally rolled her eyes at it. Plus always calling her "my baby". I'm glad Farrah moved out and I hope things really work out for her. It does make me sad that she had such a huge loss so young and at the worst time possible and she had no one to talk to about it. Where are the baby's daddy's parents BTW? I know the dad didn't know she was pregnant but I would think his parents would want to know.

cr8zyforaf - The mom assaulted her (busted her lip) and maybe went to grab a kitchen knife. The mom insists she was defending herself but I didn't see the episode so I have no idea what really went down. But that is why Farrah acts to witchy to her parents now.

Catelynn and Tyler - Seriously if you are that upset about a few phone calls to an ex from 3 years ago just break up. And him wanting to call the guy to really find out what happened between the two 3 years ago? Really? They are a sweet couple but they need to have fun and be teenagers and stop acting so old. It seems like it is hard for them to do that since that is part of their grief over the adoption.

Amber and Gary - Amber is horrible and Gary needs to move on. In the original season it was the other way around but you really see how self-centered Amber is this season. Gary is trying to change and make things work but she is so difficult to please. But I do think she was very generous to give him a day on a break to see if he really like that other girl. He should have stuck with her though.

Maci seems like a really dedicated mom but the dad does seem like a douche and super lazy. I saw how his mom took their son away to calm him when he was crying.

In last week's Us or People there was an article on Amber - I guess she has lost 60 pounds and she looks great. It sounded like she was really trying to focus on herself to be a better person and parent - totally the opposite of what you see on the show. I agree with PP, she is just horrible this season.

I agree about Farrah and the mother. Last season I thought Farrah was really immature and clueless but now I wonder how much comes from her backstory with the parents and the baby's father who passed away. I felt really bad for her once that came out.

I thought Tyler and Catelynn had their act together a little more last season. This season he is just a total disaster. I understand the baggage and all, but he's starting to just be over the top. Don't even get me started about the whole his father marrying her mother thing... Good Lord.

I do like Maci and have always thought she was the most together and stable of all of them. For the PP who asked, she lives with her parents (or maybe just her mother?). They seem to have a good relationship, and she seems to have a good head on her shoulders. Other than her baby daddy drama, she seems relatively boring compared to the others--LOL!

emabarrased to say that I googled Farrah's daugther's Father(died in car accident in December(?) in '08). Sophia looks a lot like her deceased Father.--decided to look him up, since she's been talking a lot about him recently on Teen Mom. imagirliegirl yes, Farrah's Mom IS crazy, but F isn't a saint either! Her Mom drives me crazy, by calling her granddaughter 'Baby' all.of.the.time!!-->Soulmate, I can see that you feel the same way about that term too!

I hope these young Mothers can pull through w/their Children.

I watch... and last season... and when they were all on 16 and pregnant.

Amber - I swear she has PPD. She seems seriously depressed. Last season was way worse, but with the mood swings she goes through; I wonder if she isn't taking her meds (she did go on meds last year, but I don't think they considered it was post partum)

Farrah - has always annoyed me. I'm glad she stepped up to protect Sophia, but she still doesn't seem to care about her (letting her get into everything at the apartment; leaving her outside when she moved stuff in)

Catelynn - I've actually always liked her and Tyler. Yeah, they are annoying, but they are teens. They don't have to be mature because they aren't raising a child. Yes, it was super mature to give up their child; I give them a TON of credit and I'm glad they are going through counseling to come to terms with the adoption - and they are showing it on TV.

Maci - I am SO glad she broke up with Ryan. She seems to be the one to have it together the most.

I still can't believe these kids are still in their carriers! Maybe my kids are just giant (and, I know they are, but still!) I can't believe they haven't outgrown the carriers! They are usually only good until 26-29 inches (and I'm sure these gals got the 26 inchers because I'm guessing they are cheaper).

Farrah - Geez! I am glad she is going to counseling. Her family is psycho. I just thought she didn't care about her daughter but a lot has come out this season. Though turning the lights off in the rental house while she was crying was f'd up. Leaving her in the hallway too. Oy!

Maci - I like her and glad she dumped that POS. I couldn't believe when bentley fell and smacked his mouth. Then when Maci came by he didn't say anything but his gf did. That should be a sign for the new girl.

Amber - OMG!!! That girl needs help. All she does is yell. I hope she sees this and gets the help she needs.

Catelyn - I used to like them but her bf is being a little biatch.

I can't get over how they are still in their carriers too. My dh watches this show with me and that is one thing that baffles him as well.

I haven't seen that many shows, but they all just seem like awful parents to me. I know they are super young and doing the best they can (sort of), but maybe that's why babies should not have babies?

So, with regard to Farrah...I just read an article in one of the rag mags about her 'baby daddy' and his family! He died in a car accident where he was driving two of his friends. He and one friend died; the other survived. The MOM of the other friend that died had bought them a bottle of VODKA that they drank before the accident. Who the f are these people? Farrah's baby daddy's mom says Farrah won't let them see the baby either (so I'm sorry but she is crazy just like her mom), but they are hoping she will soon because the baby daddy's SIXTEEN year old sister has a baby too, and she and Farrah are now friends!!!! Again, who are these people? Two teen pregnancies in one family?!

I came across the article posted on another board and read it. It's interesting... Amber claims she spends 2 hours a day, every day, at the gym, yet she can't devote that time to getting her GED finished. She does look great, I'll give her that. But I guess we can see where her priorities are.
