Daisy Funny that you say that about DH travel because he's been gone since early Monday morning and just called to say that he needs to fly from where he is at to another part of Alaska and might not be home until Sunday. Tomorrow is our 10 year anniversary and was hoping to at least see him. Maybe I'll take the kids out for some frozen yogurt to celebrate. Charlotte is starting preschool this fall too and I am really nervous about her being the youngest in the 2's class, and although it's not Montessori they have many of the same beliefs. I am so jealous of your vacation. I just want to go the store without kids, I could only imagine 9 days!

Ferris - wow! You must run a really tight ship, your DH travels so much! I believe you've mentioned that your mom is around and helps? I hope that is the case! My DS1 was the youngest in the 2's class when he started his montessori (they happened to have a 2's class then), but it was fine, the other kids really helped him along (not to mention the teachers). DS2 will 2.5 (but still younger for the class) when he starts - I think it helps that he's familiar with the school, kids and teachers already. I'm not as worried about the transition. Anyway, Happy Anniversary, I hope your DH surprises you with something nice when he gets home. Our 10 year is in a couple of weeks and I've put some pressure on DH to plan something unique, but we'll see - I'm not holding my breath!

Daisy My mom usually does help but she is on a a month long vacation! LOL, so it's all up to me. And yes we are on a schedule but things are off a little since Griffin arrived. Happy Anniversary to you too and I am not holding my breath for a gift. We might go to dinner when my mom gets back in August.

I was wondering if anyone was still around in here. Things here are going okay. Caitlin turned 2 on Friday. She only speaks and 2-3 word sentences and signs the basics to get her point across. She's been sick a lot lately with respiratory issues. I think she is going to follow her brother's foot steps and be an asthmatic. We've hit the terrible twos. My sweet, little girl can turn in to a monster in a matter of seconds. She throws a heck of a tantrum by throwing herself on the ground and screaming. I generally just leave the room until she's done. lol
Happy Birthday to all of the July/August babies.

Julie How is she adjusting to the move?

Charlotte turned 2 on Sunday and like Caitlin she's sweet one minute and throwing a tantrum the next. Fun times. We just had her 2 year appointment and she's 24lbs 8 oz (24%) and 34.75 tall (72%). She is sleeping in a bunk bed with her sister for about 2 months now and only occasionally gets out to sneak up to her sisters bed. Only 1 month till she starts school and I am so worried about her!

She's been totally fine with the move. Surprisingly. Of course, there's the broken arm to contend with now, but she doesn't seem to be letting that slow her down either. lol

I need to schedule her 2 year appointment. Slacker mom over here. My guess is she's around 26lbs and 34-35 inches.
