And the good news is that there are now so many members with IVF children that the stats had to run over into a 2nd post.

diam124, that is interesting. My doc tried to convince me not to do a FET cycle too. He was worried about my age affecting me and wanted me to continue fresh cycles a while longer. I felt that my body could not handle another fresh cycle...at least not for a while. (I have bad reactions to anesthesia and some of the fert. drugs got me over-stimulated). Anyway, the frozen cycle does have a lower success rate, but as i said before...they wouldn't do them if there was no success. Now I am here to tell you that the fet cycles DO work. My son is living proof. I wish you all the luck. Feel free to email me if you have any questions. Good luck.

    Default Back in action...

Hi Gang! I've been on Cape Cod all summer trying to keep my mom company (Dad died this February) and do a frozen cycle at the same time. Anyway, I'm a little late to the party as beta day is already Wednesday...

Anyone else find that they were pretty nauseous from the PIO? I almost barfed in my nantucket basket during weaving class this morning. My mom got all excited, but I think it's way to early for m/s, must be a side-effect of the Progesterone, right?

Here are my updated stats for this new thread.

    GoLightly
    Me: Jennie/34
    DH: Brett/34
    Married: May 7, 2005
    Charting: Sept '07
    TTC: April '07
Known issues: Mullerian Anomaly (massive uterine septum) discovered after being misdiagnosed "unexplained" for nearly a year.
1/08 HSG test (results: apparently clear, see below)
1/08 DH's SA: Count and morphology very good, motility ok.
2/08 started TCM (traditional chinese medicine) weekly acupuncture, herbs, modified diet.
6/08 CD3 blood work (normal, except I'm a CF carrier, DH is not.) timed cycle with monitoring. TCM
7/08 Timed cycle with monitoring and HCG trigger + Prometrium. TCM. BFN
8/08 Clomid + HCG Trigger + Prometrium. TCM = BFN
    9/08 50mg Clomid +HCG Trigger + IUI + Prometrium. TCM = BFN
    10/08 100mg Clomid +HCG trigger + IUI + Prometrium. TCM = BFN
    11/08 100mg Clomid +HCG trigger + IUI + Prometrium. TCM = BFN
11/08 Discovery that HSG from 1/08 was grossly mis-read and there is a possible uterine septum and/or bicornuate uterus. Lap/hysteroscopic metroplasty scheduled.
11/21/08 lap/hyst. confirms very large and wide uterine septum with hanging flap. Flap and septum reported to be successfully resected. Stage 1 endo also discovered and cauterized.
1/23/09 in-office hysteroscopy discovers adhesions and significant residual septum.
1/29/09 Operative hysteroscopy repeated to resect adhesions and remaining septum.
4/09 In-hysteroscopy surgical follow-up looks good, "green light" for TTC again.
4/09 natural cycle on our own with OPK = BFN
    5/09 - 7/09 3 more natural cycles on our own = BFNx3
7/09 - new OB practice. repeat CD3 bloodwork. Prolactin is over 70. Subsequent macroprolactin results are normal.
    8/09 - 50mg Clomid + OPK + IUI = BFN count was low, didn't have temp rise until 4dpIUI.
9/09 - keeping new OB, working with old fertility specialist. 50mg Clomid + Trigger + IUI = BFN count good, timing excellent.
    10/09 - 50mg Clomid + Trigger + IUI = BFN
    11/09 - 100 mg Clomid + Trigger + IUI = BFN
    1/10 - starting IVF research.
    4/10- Fresh Cycle #1 - 1 embryo transferred, 4 frozen = BFN
    8/10 - Frozen Cycle #1 - 2 embryos transferred

Golightly: I never felt nauseous while on progesterone so here's hoping! I REALLY hope this frozen cycle is IT for you! You've been through too much already. Fingers are tightly crossed for you. Hope there is a good report on Wednesday

GL: Good luck! I never felt nauseous from progesterone, but I have a friend who 'claimed' she did, but it ended up only being on successful cycles so I think it was the HCG rather than prog. She always had really high #s too. Fingers crossed this is it for you!

GL - I had my beta on a Monday. The Wednesday before I started getting severe nausea and car sickness. And it didn't go away for most of my pregnancy! So it sounds like good news! Good luck, fingers crossed for you!

I think a few people here have been active on ivfconnections.com
I have not been there for awhile but checked the site tonight. Looks like it's been sold and there are only a few days left to visit the old site before you have to either join the new site or say good bye.
