IVF Thread - Summer 2010

Beta came back at 199. We are officially pregnant!!!!
We are very happy, but a little nervous too. I don't think I'll be able to relax after having gone through so much to get here.

I go back on Mon for another beta draw and for an ultrasound 2 weeks later. I'll be 6w4d then, we should be able to see a heartbeat, right?

I saw h/b with both boys at 6w 3d. So I'd say, yes.

My stats never made it on last time around, so here they are!

Dx: officially unexplained, but mild endo and borderline SA probably didn't help. RE now suspects low ovarian reserve, based on poor response to meds in our previous cycles.

Treatments:
11/07: Lap to remove endo and ovarian cysts
2/08: 100mg Clomid+trigger+IUI
3/08: 100mg Clomid+trigger+IUI
4/08: 100mg Clomid+trigger+IUI
5/08: Gonal F 150 + Cetrotide + Trigger + IUI
7/08: IVF w/ICSI, transferred 2 5-day blasts SUCCESSFUL! DD born 4/6/09

yaaaaayyyy malala!! 199 is a great #, what day past transfer were you? We saw a hb at 6w2d so I would say yes you CAN, but I do know some people who had to wait another few days. Thinking continued good thoughts for you!

So I've posted in some of the other threads, but we are now officially IVF-bound!

Me: Brooke, 31
DH:36
Married: Dec. 2003
TTC since 2009
Dx: Severe Male factor (due to chemo)
May: SA with zero sperm
June: repeat SA with 5 sperm
July: (new RE) repeat SA with 6 sperm, DH starts taking L-carnitine supplements
Planning for IVF w/ ICSI (and probable open testicular biopsy) in October.

Congratulations to all who have had successes, and may the rest of us have some too!

I was supposed to have my initial consult tomorrow but that isn't looking likely. My doctor's office doesn't feel the need to send the RE the authorization despite having a month to get it done.
