    Default Daycare Bag

When DD started daycare, we used the diaper bag they gave us at the hospital and it was a good size for what we needed to send back and forth each day. But it got gross with all the spilled milk/formula and we replaced it with a bag we already had from LLBean. That ones getting a little grungy too so I thought it might be time to replace it. But I can't find anything.

    My Dream Bag:

    Shoulder Strap
    Zipper Closure
(Exterior) Pockets for sippy cups so they don't roll around
Large enough for lunch, sheet and blanket and diapers
Exterior Pocket for the all important artwork transportation

Does anyone have anything they use that would work for me? Open to any ideas. It doesn't have to be pretty and ideally, it would be cheap.

    Thanks.

We have an OiOi hobo that meets all your criteria except the outside pocket for artwork. But we have an older style so they might have updated it. Or what about a Skip Hop? You might get more input in the diaper bag thread.

I'd go to wal-mart/target/etc. and get a cheapo backpack. Maybe a smaller preschool-size one if you don't have lots to take back and forth.

We used the Ju-Ju-Be Be Tween for our DS at daycare when we were taking formula and food in for him:

I got it on sale at one of the deal a day websites but have seen it TJ Maxx and Marshalls for like $30.

I was going to get DD a LLBean tote with her name on it for daycare. But got cheap - we have just been using a reusable shopping bag and it works well. We don't take diapers or sippy's to school, just a change of clothes. Blanket and artwork home on weekends - otherwise it just hangs on her hook.

DS is 3.5 now, so we don't send that much stuff to daycare anymore - just a change of clothes (1 pair of shorts/pants, 1 t-shirt, 2 pairs of underwear and 1 pair of socks), a packet of wipes, 1 underjams diaper (he still sleeps/takes naps in those, even though he's potty-trained) and his snacks (a few packs of cookies/banana/granola bar). I bought him one of those little backpacks in TRU - it fits everything and is so small that it's much easier to bring back and forth than a bigger diaper bag. We only bring his blanket/sheet home for the weekend and that goes into a reusable shopping bag.
