I liked the way they did the final episode. It was sad because he looked so awful, but it wasn't dramatic. Glad they talked about that storm, those waves are so crazy! That's the kind of thing those guys live for. I wish I would have been watching After the Catch all this time. I loved the little stories.

I can't believe Phil and his bird feeders! The one they showed was like a bird mansion. Pretty cool.

I know, that was so great, I loved that scene! Funny when they said that basically he builds dollhouses. LOL The one they showed was very cool!

I am SO MAD. We had horrific thunderstorms here yesterday and our cable went out around 6:30. By 7 am this morning, it was STILL OUT!! So, I missed the show & will have to watch it on re-runs that air well past my bedtime right now. Stupid Time Warner Cable. I reported the outage at 6:30 and they said it would be back in 90 minutes and kept saying that up to 9:15 pm when I went to bed in disgust. I really wanted to watch it yesterday.

I just got around to watching the episode from last Tuesday and it was so sad. Watching all of those roughneck guys cry was just too much.

I thought the little tributes the boats did were cool. Keith's really got me.

I wonder how many of these guys are going to retire now that the show has become so popular. I bet they've made more money from it than they ever imagined. It's just interesting that Andy, Jonathan, and Edgar are all thinking about leaving when this is family business. I would think they would feel obligated to stay forever (like Sig obviously does).

Next season is going to seem so wrong without Phil. I felt so bad for the Cornelia guys being stuck at sea twice as long to meet their quota. Still good pay for a few months of work, though.
