Please check your status in the first post; I know some of you have found out your baby's sex, but you're still listed as "awaiting ultrasound" or "surprise." And pregnancy brain is keeping me from remembering who is having what "flavor" of baby!
I put the baby's bedding on the crib today and am really happy with it. Baby clothes are washed and ready to go. Just need to do a few more things and the nursery that she won't really use for months will be all set

I have VERY fast labors and, despite going to the hospital as soon as it was clear I was in very active labor, I delivered both of my girls w/in about 4 hours of arriving. Given I am supposed to get 4 hours of IV antibiotics, that's just not going to work! Anyone have advice on this?

Parrothead: I have no advice unfortunately since I was GBS negative with DS but in case I end up GBS + this time, that's good know to about the 4 hours of IV antibiotics. I never knew that.
parrothead, I didn't know about the 4 hours of abx. If I end up GBS+ this time, I'll be in the same boat as you...no way that based on my previous labors I'd for sure be at the hospital for four hours before delivering. I'll be curious to hear what your doc says about that.
amew, I totally don't see how you can always be sure about the types of contractions either. I just think at some point you follow your gut about calling the doc on things.
