Naming a girl Maxwell is asinine. It's already been stated that no one wants to be called the same thing as a feminine hygiene product - Maxi. It just shows, once again, that their whole family is a bunch of morons. Let's not forget Ashley's son Bronx Mowgli.

I will be a lone dissenter. I like the name in general. Is it a little to masculine? Yes. But it is by far no Pilot Inspektor (or Bronx Mowgli) or other bizarre name that she could have given her. Heck, I just looked up Victoria Beckham's kids' names are equally unusual but we are not calling her stupid...
Brooklyn Joseph, Romeo James, Cruz David, and Harper Seven. And Maxine are shortened to Max and Maxie all the time.

That being said, JS irritates me with her pretend idiocy. I highly doubt she is really that unintelligent in real life given her level of success for whatever reason.

To be clear - I think they are all dumb. But I don't mind Maxwell so much, I just wish she would have given her a more feminine middle name to offset or give a future option.

Oh totally. It is not my choice. It is just not as bad as so many other names out there. Just a little more masculine than I prefer too. A feminine name would have been a nice offset, even if it was a third name. That being said, my name irl is spelled the masculine version on paper (sans accent).

I do wish the middle name was more feminine but I don't think it's horrible. I've heard worse.

Eh, I don't mind the first name. But this is also what I thought when I read the middle name:
I know Drew is a family name for her, but it's also the name of her ex-BIL.
I have NO room to talk because I gained 80+ w/my first PG and 60+ w/the second, but I'm wondering how much weight she gained. I lost everything the first time around by 7 weeks PP because it was honestly mostly water weight as I had horrific swelling but it took me 10 months to lose the weight the second time around.

I think Suri has pretty much covered my opinion on the name, and the seemingly endless duration of her pregnancy.

Hate the name, hate JS, hate that dumb women like her grace too many magazine covers and try to be role models for young girls...

Maxwell?? Seriously? They might as well have named her Brad.

After another article praising skinny, new moms: Candice Crawford's Hot Post-Baby Bod: How She Did It, I was happy to see a voice of reason - Jenna Fischer.

I think her comments on breastfeeding and losing weight come in part from Beyonce's claims that nursing helped her lose 50 lbs in 10 weeks. After seeing Beyonce NIP and talk about how great nursing was, several bloggers were upset that she stopped nursing at 10 weeks.
