    Default Your favorite PJ's

I am in the market for some new PJ's and I was wondering what your faves are. I like to sleep in pants and short sleeve tops. Since I am short I need pants that are cropped. Any suggestions?

My favorite pajamas are flannel bottoms and tees that I buy from the Gap. I get twisted up when I sleep in night gowns and button up tops, so I prefer something that pulls over my head. I look for the Gap Body tees or the ones that go on sale for cheap at the end of the seasons. I tend to buy my sleeping clothes in pastels for some reason, so even though I don't plan it, the stuff goes together. Since I don't like to pay full price for anything, I also like to take a look at places like Marshalls and TJ Maxx, they often have cute separates.

This year, I also asked for a pair of sandwashed silk pajama pants from Victoria's Secret, I hope they are comfy!
Instead of having "answers" on a math test, they should just call them "impressions," and if you got a different "impression," so what, can't we all be brothers?

Mostly, I like the Nick & Nora bottoms that are sold at Target. They are comfy and wash well. I pair them with one of dh's tee shirts or one of my own, depending on what happens to be close by. I'm not terribly picky.

My absolute favorites are a pair of Joe Boxer flannels that are literally threadbare. I have a hard time finding that brand these days.

I usually have luck with the separates by Alfani at Macy's, but this season I could not find any cropped pants. I got a pair of Jenni bottoms (found one pair that were shorter) and got two Alfani tops to go with them--one a ribbed long sleeve and one a short-sleeved modal cotton, which is incredibly soft.

Current faves are a Tshirt and maternity capri yoga pants from Old Navy. Non-maternity, I like the stretch modal stuff from Gap Body. I got the best pair of pants there for like $3 on clearance. I'm not much for sets, but I have some of the Gap flannel pants sets I've received as gifts and I like those also (although I rarely wear them together).

Hi lcarlson - I was just in the market too and found some I really like at Nordstroms - the Josie and Natori brands. Not the cheapest, but cute and soft. Good luck!

I buy mine at American Eagle - they have a good selection and come in different lengths.

Kohl's is my go-to store for comfy pjs these days. I prefer capri or cropped pants and have had good luck with their selection, quality and prices. BUT, I've found that shorter pajama pants tends to be seasonal so it may be difficult for you to find a good selection at this time of year. Once the spring stuff starts coming out though, there will be lots.

The last few years, I've gotten cotton PJs from Ann Taylor Loft around Christmas time that have held up really well and are very comfy. I often wear the pants with random t-shirts year-round.

I prefer 100% cotton 2-piece sets with pants, and it seems like they always have 2-piece sets with pants and a long-sleeve knit top around the holidays. I'm honestly not sure if they have short-sleeve tops as well. FWIW, I am 5'2" and always get petite size pants at AT or ATL, but their pajama pants have fit me just fine and aren't too long.

My other pair is a 100% cotton pink and white striped 2-piece set from Victoria's Secret.

I just can't wear polyester. My jammies have to be 100% cotton or 100% silk or they drive me nuts

ETA: the 2-piece sets I've gotten at ATL were on sale (close to Christmas) for about $20 or $25.
