That one of my cousin's friends on facebook always has to whine about not being invited to her wedding. Every time my cousin says something about her husband or about the wedding back when she was planning, this friend has to comment about not being invited. Seriously, get over it bitch.

Actually no, this is one of the few holidays that if a place celebrates it, it is celebrated on the day it falls. It is only pushed to a Monday or Friday if it falls on a weekend. There are very few that I know that have it off. I used to get it when I worked for the gov't, but DH never gets it off. That stinks about trying to find a sitter though.

I actually get annoyed when people talk about their weddings on Facebook in general--it seems like it always prompts some sort of drama, or a guilt trip, or unwanted advice--basically, there's no upside to mentioning your wedding on Facebook! That friend of your cousin's does sound particularly annoying, though.

I'm annoyed at credit card due dates that are not consistent month to month. I realized today that I was supposed to pay one yesterday. Sigh. Now to make the call and beg for forgiveness.

Blech. And now I'm irritated at myself for not paying attention. I had a glass of water with dinner, and then poured myself a glass of cabernet sauvignon (it pairs nicely with crappy TV). Apparently, though, I immediately forgot that I switched beverages, because I just took a big old gulp of wine, thinking it was water. Not pleasant!

People who use the word gay to imply lame, stupid, or some other negative word. Gay doesn't mean stupid and you're not 12. So get a dictionary and a thesaurus, and start coming up with some new words to describe your feelings. If that's not possible, then don't talk to me. I'm so over your idiocy.
Why do people kill people who kill people to show people that to kill people - is bad?

Ditto to this and I'll add - people who use retarded to mean stupid/negative word.

I call people on both; I don't allow either words used in a negative connotation in my presence. If you're going to use the word correctly, then okay - use away.

It took DH several months when we were dating to get over his habit. ILs are still using these words negatively. Now that DD1 is talking, you better believe they won't be uttering these words negatively around her.

DH apparently moved his passport from his nightstand to our little safe recently--and now he doesn't remember where he put the keys. We spent an hour looking for them last night and can't find them anywhere. (It came with two keys on one key ring, and I just never bothered to separate them because we always put them away in the same spot.) I've looked again today and there's still no sign of them. So now I have to go to the safe manufacturer's website and order a replacement set of keys. It's not that the replacement keys are expensive (they're $15), or that I need anything out of the safe in the immediate future--I'm just annoyed at his disorganization.

I'm irritated that I finally received a call this morning from our pediatrician's office, stating that they have the H1N1 vaccine. The message was left at 8:05 am. By the time I came home from dropping off the kids at school and actually got the message - calling back right away - all the vaccines were gone - at 8:45. Damn, this shot is hard to find!
