I confess that DH is getting on my very last nerve tonight and it's taking all the willpower I have to not hurl my laptop at him. I'm going to bed as soon as Stargate Universe is over just so I don't have to deal with him anymore tonight.

I confess that I had all day yesterday to get my house work done yet I managed to do almost none of it. Now, I've got a couple hours to get it all done before I have to go to the airport. Gee, I love when family comes for the holidays.

I confess that my feelings are really hurt that several of my mommy friends that I hang out with quite often had a New Moon party and went to see the movie and didn't invite me.

I confess I should be unloading the dishwasher, reloading it, and folding laundry since both boys are asleep. But I'm not. I am on the computer and watching CSI. I only have one week left of maternity leave and don't want to do anything!!!

I am having the hardest, worst weekend with my DD. She has been such an amazing brat that I am constantly on edge and angry. She just refuses to do what she's asked, is defiant then cries loudly. She intentionally woke up her brother yesterday because he was sleeping in my arms and she wanted a glass of water (and didn't want to wait for it).

I am so pissed off that I just want her to stop talking to me.

I just wish we'd started getting house-cleaners sooner!
I am curious...what are they cleaning that you never thought of cleaning? Wondering if I am not cleaning the same things...??

shopaholic - I guess telling you will prove that I'm a horrid house-cleaner.

    1. outsides of cabinets
    2. vacuuming the lampshades
    3. light bulbs in the bathrooms (we still have those big old 90's ones) & the light fixtures for that matter, I'd never gotten up to wipe/wash them
    4. the sides of the washer/dryer and the floors besides them (wedged by the walls, never got down to cleaning them)
    5. vacuuming the air/filter grate
    6. wiping all of the switch plates
    7. wiping the baseboards

That's all I can remember right now, there might be more.

This made me LOL. I just know it would take all day for them to do our house. I make sure they are a professional group of cleaners that have done apartments that groups of roommate guys have moved out of because I know NOTHING could be more disgusting than that so my house won't be a big deal (even though it's still pretty bad in the dark corners). I've never cleaned any of the things you mentioned either, and I could name about 10 more places that a compulsive cleaner would clean that I've never touched.
